Harvested in the cool mornings of late March. The cold Chardonnay grapes were brought in to the winery and gently pressed. The juice was then fermented warm and aged for 6 months on yeast lees to develop texture, richness and ripe fruit flavours before being pre-pared and bottled.
Pale straw in colour, our Chardonnay has aromas of ripe stone- fruit with subtle citrus char-acters. The palate is rich and balanced with generous layered flavours of stone- fruit, melon and citrus, that gives the wine a lovely mouthfeel and length.
This Chardonnay is a perfect accompaniment to chicken and creamy pasta dishes. Great for after a hard days work drink or enjoy with your nightly meal.
