Beautifully ripe & clean sauvignon blanc was harvested in late march and fermented using selected yeast strains to give the "sauvignon portion" of this wine. Aged briefly on yeast lees, some young, fruity pinot noir was added to introduce the blush colour and a red berry component to the sauvignon rose (pink sauvignon).Strawberry, watermelon and ripe citrus marry beautifully to create this lovely fresh summer wine. Serve well chilled. The sauvignon rose is a perfect accompaniment to fresh crispy salads, seafood dishes or when toasting to the start of the Summer Festive Season.
