Harvested in the cool mornings of late March. The cold Chardonnay grapes were brought into the winery and gently pressed. The juice was then fermented warm and aged for 11 months on yeast lees undergoing a full malolactic conversion before being prepared and bottled.
Pale straw in colour, our Chardonnay has aromas of ripe stone-fruit with subtle oak. The palate is rich and balanced with generous layered flavours of stone-fruit, melon and citrus, that gives the wine a lovely mouthfeel and length. This Chardonnay is a perfect accompaniment to chicken and creamy pasta dishes.
