Nice tidy Sauvignon, plenty of fruit character and with
the fresh style that makes this variety work. A sound,
ready Sauvignon to enjoy on a warm afternoon or
with food from the sea, maybe antipasto. No hurry into
2022 and beyond.

This Sauvignon Blanc was machine harvested in the cool mornings of late March, then destemmed and gently pressed to tank for settling. The juice was then racked off solids and the bright juice cool fermented with aromatic yeast strains. The wine was then blend-ed and bottled for you to enjoy!
Lively and racy, lots of flavours settling down at six months although the freshness gives the wine immediate appeal. Great aperitif or with a fish course. Perhaps a matter of taste some will prefer the freshness, other, will prefer this stage to pass. A fine glass of Nelson Sauvignon either way.
