From a cool, damp flowering period to a beautiful hot January followed by exceptionally wet February, with significant disease pressure throughout. Fortunately, from early March onwards, fine weather returned and remained steady. The palate offers juicy fruit flavours, a supple mouthfeel, and grainy tannins, making it sturdy and firm with a lengthy, fruity finish.
