Wine Making
Harvested in the cool mornings of late March. The Chardonnay grapes were brought in to the winery in pristine condition and gentle pressed. The juice was then fermented warm in French oak puncheons, 20% new oak and aged for ten months on yeast lees to develop texture, richness and ripe fruit flavours having gone through full malolactic fermentation before being prepared and bottled.
Tasting Note
Fruit driven and smooth, our 2024 Chardonnay features delicious whitepeach and nectarine aromas, with subtle French oak puncheons and leesaging adding complexity. The palate is concentrated and moreishdisplaying fine minerality and incredible length of flavour.
