Motueka Winemakers and Growers is a proudly family-owned and operated winery, based in beautiful Nelson wine region. Our hands-on approach and deep local roots drive everything we do — from vine to bottle. We believe great wine starts with great land, and the rich Motueka soils, coastal breezes, and consistently high sunshine hours offer the perfect environment for crafting expressive, aromatic varietals. Our goal is simple: to create vibrant, everyday wines that over-deliver on quality, character, and pure drinking pleasure.

Wine Making

Our Pinot Rose was harvested in the cool mornings of late March. We pressed the Pinot grapes with minimal skin contact and fermented them very cool to retain as much as possible of the elegant floral flavours. Left on the original yeast for an extra two months allowed the addition of a little more complexity without distracting from the primary flavours.

Tasting Note

Our Pinot Noir Rosé greets you with enticing scents of strawberries and cream. On the palate, it offers a harmonious blend of rose petal and strawberry flavors, making it an exceptional choice for summer enjoyment.
