We gather grapes from various sites across the Nelson region, including the Waimea Plains with its rich alluvial soils and the Moutere Hills known for their intense clay loams. Nelson’s cool maritime climate enables us to create distinctive wines, while Motueka soils, coastal breezes, and ample sunshine hours provide an ideal setting for developing expressive, aromatic varietals.
Tasting Note
Our Sauvignon Blanc is intensely aromatic, revealing vibrant Granny Smith apple, fresh citrus, and delicate herbal notes, layered with a subtle stony minerality. On the palate, crisp acidity and bright stone fruit create a refreshing middle, while hints of tropical fruit and white peach add complexity. The finish is long and beautifully balanced, with a lingering minerality that speaks to Nelson's coastal terroir.
